Hi everyone,

I've recently returned to Christchurch and currently battling a sports gambling addiction. I only recently started gambling a year ago, it started with a few dollars and now 10's of thousands later I have over extended credit cards, debt spiring out of control and realising this can't go on.

For people who has been in a similar situation or perhaps still are, what paths did you take to recovery that you found effective? I personally find it comforting to speak to people who are going through the same thing, is there any group meetup anyone knows of from the Christchurch region? Perhaps we could form a support group if not.
